The rune wakens under your finger, and the door splinters violently.

When wakened, this rune cracks, splinters, corrodes, or otherwise deals major damage to the object on which it was scribed. It only affects material within about 3 ft.

Wooden objects and walls (such as a door, or the hull of a ship) are very likely to be breached. A 1' thick stone wall will be very badly damaged, and possibly breached. An iron wall or door, or a thick stone wall, will be seriously weakened.
