Once wakened, you can bind another spell to this rune. The duration of a bound spell is doubled.

The spell and rune must be placed on the same target to be effective. For example, you could etch the rune into the target's armor, and then bind Protection from Energy to the rune.

Runic Power:The duration of the bound spell is tripled.
